Gunditj Mirring Traditional Owners Aboriginal Corporation (GMTOAC) is inviting suitably qualified and experienced Contractors, to provide an expression of interest (EOI) for the position of Head Contractor for the Tae Rak Stage 2 Project. Successful contractors will then be shortlisted for a Request for Tender (RFT) Process.

The project is at the Tae Rak (Lake Condah) site situated in the Budj Bim Cultural Landscape.

The scope of works includes the following:

• 100 seat natural amphitheatre.
• Outdoor kitchen for small group tourism cooking presentations.
• Operations Building (staff offices and amenities).
• Multipurpose room designed for various uses, such as additional dining area for the existing aquaculture center (seating 40 people), a function space, or a venue for tourism activities and presentations.
• Expanded services enclosure.
• Expanded public amenities. Additional carpark spaces for approximately 20 cars, informal carparking area for 25 cars and dedicated bus drop off area.
• Landscaping/walking track connecting existing aquaculture centre, amphitheatre and new operation building.
• Expanded site infrastructure including solar PV energy centre, rainwater treatment and waste water treatment systems.

This project has a high public profile with the site receiving UNESCO World Heritage Listing in 2019. Consequently, previous experience working within archeologically and environmentally sensitive locations will be highly valued.
