AMD Fellows based in Western Australia and with a commitment to trainee education can now apply to join the AMD College Learning Series Committee.
The College Learning Series (CLS) is a comprehensive, online lecture series that reflects the curriculum and supports basic trainees.
The CLS Committee (AMD) provides clinical leadership and strategic advice for the AMD stream and drives the development of annual programs of lectures.
The WA Coordinator’s key responsibilities include:
- engaging with the CLS Committee to help develop the program and plan the annual lecture program
- nominating and approaching speakers in WA
- committing to regular attendance at meetings of the Committee
The CLS Committee (AMD) usually holds three meetings each year, 2 via video conference and 1 face-to-face meetings in Sydney. Additional meetings are organised if necessary.
