SA Water Corporation (the “Principal”) invites tenders from potential suppliers for the provision of Trade Resources to support our Maintenance Workshops.
SA Water’s Maintenance Group successfully executes maintenance strategies providing our stakeholders and customers the complete complement of maintenance and project services involved across the asset life cycle of water and wastewater assets and infrastructure.
These services have previously been delivered by SA Water employees as well as external resources obtained via external labour “loan” arrangements; (a “loan” arrangement is whereby we “loan” a company's employee for an agreed timeframe).
We propose to enter into a Standing Offer Panel Arrangement with an adequate number of suppliers to ensure all services at all sites can be sourced. Candidates will be sought as and when required for terms ranging from two weeks to six months.
The Standing Offer Panel agreement will be set up for a 24-month period with optional 2 x 12-month extension periods. For suppliers to progress to evaluations they are required to meet the following MANDATORY Criteria.
Suppliers must demonstrate that they have current employees available for labour Loan arrangements who meet the requirements of the specified persons namely:
Employees must have a minimum of three years’ experience in relevant trades:
- Mechanical Fitter
- Plumbing
- Electrician
- Welding Trades
- Candidates to have in excess of two year’ work experience in water / wastewater utilities industry.
Suppliers who DO NOT meet this MANDATORY Criteria will NOT progress to full evaluations.
