Tender Description

DESCRIPTION:

Adelaide University ('the University') is a leading contemporary comprehensive university of global standing. We are dedicated to ensuring the prosperity, well-being and cohesion of society by addressing educational inequality through our actions and through the success and impact of our students, staff and alumni. Partnered with the communities we serve, we conduct outstanding future-making research of scale and focus. For more information regarding the University please visit the website at: click here

ABOUT THE RFT:

The University is seeking a holistic upgrade of the electrical services infrastructure to extend the life of the Engineering North and Engineering Annexe buildings. The project addresses electrical services capacity shortfalls from increasing demands on the core base building electrical services infrastructure and mitigates potential "business as usual" interruption from unforeseen breakdowns and outages.

Both Engineering buildings have had fit-out projects that have upgraded parts of the building limited to the project areas. However, the rest of the building, including the base building services, have slowly begun to approach the end of their remaining asset life. Several ad-hoc upgrades and intensification throughout the building have gradually increased the demand for the electrical infrastructure of the building and led to bottle necks that present a risk to the building operation.

ENQUIRIES: The online forum will be open for enquiries until 12:00pm (ACST) on Monday 15 June 2026.

CLOSING DATE AND TIME:

The RFT will close at 12:00pm (ACST) on Friday 19 June 2026, and submissions must be fully received by this time. The University is not bound to accept the lowest priced Tender, or all or any part of a Tender and reserves the right to conduct the Request for Tender process and select the successful tenderer as it sees fit.

Staff of the University are unable to respond to verbal enquiries in relation to the tender.

Late, verbal or emailed tenders will not be accepted.
