The City of West Torrens (the Council) invites Expression of Interests from Registrants for the provision of Bus Shelter Advertising and Maintenance in the City of West Torrens.
BACKGROUND
The Council has an opportunity for bus shelter advertising and maintenance services and is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified suppliers to deliver the Services.
Current Situation
There are 197 bus shelters throughout the City of West Torrens. Council is responsible for 167 of these, which are the subject of this EOI. The remaining shelters are owned, operated and maintained by the Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT) or Adelaide Airport.
Of the 167 bus shelters that are owned by Council, 58 currently have advertising, and 107 do not.
All shelters with advertising are currently maintained by Council's current bus shelter advertising and management contractor. Additionally, there are several non-advertising shelters that are also maintained by this contractor.
Council’s aims and objectives
Council is seeking to deliver clean, safe and reliable bus shelter advertising and maintenance services for our community, while also achieving a suitable commercial return through advertising partnerships.
Compliance with the Council's online tool for managing contractors' Work Health and Safety systems is a mandatory requirement. Please refer to Schedule 6 for further information. Failure to comply with this requirement will result in a non-conforming submission and will not be considered during the evaluation process.
