The Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine (AFRM) Faculty Assessment Committee (FAC) seeks a Rehabilitation Fellow as the External Training Module 6 Coordinator (Behavioral Sciences).
The FAC supervises the coordination of the development, preparation, and measurement of exams and assessments, standardises examiners and assessors, and oversees examining panels.
The Coordinator is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) and/or Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine (AFRM) who can provide feedback and rate accurately according to the AFRM marking outcomes, as informed by the Advanced Training program requirements.
The Coordinator reports to the Chair of the Faculty Assessment Committee (FAC) in Rehabilitation Medicine. The purpose of this role is to coordinate and mark submissions of the External Training Module 6: Behavioral Sciences for Rehabilitation Medicine Trainees.

- ability to collaborate with colleagues to maintain the standards of assessments
- knowledge of formative and summative assessment methodologies
Key tasks and responsibilities
- ensure Module 6 assessments are marked, and results are returned to the Education Officer in Advanced Training within 6 weeks, to be recorded in the database and communicated to trainees
- mark project submissions as part of the Recognition of Prior Learning process
- advocate for modern educational principles in learning and assessment for the trainees of the Faculty
- provide advice to trainees regarding proposals or plans for projects
- delegate review of submissions to markers
