This project aims to upgrade the existing water recovery and treatment system for the irrigation of the two hockey pitches at the State Netball and Hockey Centre, Parkville.

The State Sport Centres Trust is a statutory authority responsible for governing the State Sport Centre’s four venues; Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre (MSAC), the State Netball and Hockey Centre (Parkville), Lakeside Stadium and the State Basketball Centre (Knox). The pitch irrigation system has a legacy water recovery and treatment system. This system has not been used for many years. It has been assessed and the specifications and project scope has derived from this assessment.
