This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
Two distinct Attack Surface Management (ASM) solutions are being sought to support the AFP existing threat exposure and vulnerability management capability:
- External Attack Surface Management (EASM) and
- Cyber Asset Attack Surface Management (CAASM)
EASM is used by the AFP to mean solutions focused on external asset discovery via scanning from outside the AFP’s network perimeter to monitor, detect and manage vulnerabilities and exposures.
CAASM is used by the AFP to mean solutions that enable the unified visibility of both internal and external ICT assets, where asset data from numerous sources can be enriched and contextualised to assist in the holistic management of exposure to cyber threats, including vulnerability analysis, validation and remediation, security control analysis and support the reduction of the Enterprise’s overall attack surface.
The AFP may elect to procure only one or both of the ASM components through a future Request for Quote based on feature availability, budget and responses to this Request for Information.

The users and their needs
The users are AFP Cyber Security Analysts who need solutions that can provide the following capabilities:
- External Attack Surface Management covering approx. 500 hosts/IPs
- Cyber Asset Attack Surface Management covering approx. 16,000 hosts/IPs.
