All Goulburn Valley Water Contractors who tender for work with a total of 100k or more will be required to have a third party certified safety system e.g. AS/NZS 4801:2001

Brief Scope of Works:

The works of this contract comprise the replacement of water meters located in two districts (Northern and Southern) within our Goulburn Valley region. These meters have recorded a high total reading or have been identified as needing replacement. The works include the provision of all labour, plant and tools of whatever kind necessary for the complete and proper replacement of the designated meters.

The scope of works is as follows:

• Replacement of residential, commercial and industrial water meters
• RF meters
• Replacement of non-functioning shut off valves (stop taps)
• Supply of equipment as necessary for the completion of the contract works
• Generation, submission and maintenance of Health Safety and Environment documentation
• Setting out the works
• Test 10% of the replaced meters and report the results to Goulburn Valley Water
• SWEP/Vic Facility Meters are to be co-ordinated and replaced with consultation with the governing authority
