This tender invite supplier to provide a response for the establishment of a panel of service providers to undertake internal audit activities.

Project goals

The objective of this procurement activity is to engage internal audit service providers to undertake internal audit activities within DCCEEW network including the provision of audit services for all entities that currently sit within the Audit and Risk Committee (ARC) arrangements supported by the Governance and Legal Division. This will also enable agencies across the cluster not directly supported by the Division to leverage off the panel contract, resulting from this procurement activity in engaging providers to deliver their internal audits.

Scope

This procurement seeks to appoint a panel of providers with demonstrated internal audit and assurance services capabilities.

Scope of Services:

• Work alongside with the DCCEEW Internal Audit team to assist the Department in meeting its statutory and legislative obligations by the provision of internal audit and assurance services as per The Institute of Internal Auditors – Global Internal Audit Standards.
• Work alongside with the DCCEEW Internal Audit team to undertake internal audit projects in accordance with the DCCEEW Internal Audit Plan and provide timely reports to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and the Audit and Risk Committee (ARC) on the results of the audits.
• Support the DCCEEW Internal Audit team by providing internal audit and risk thought leadership (global and international).
• Provide subject matter expertise (SME).
• Provide input into DCCEEW Internal Audit methodology.
• Provide ad hoc assistance as required.
