Tender Description
PKKP Aboriginal Corporation (PKKPAC), on behalf of the Decision Making Committee (DMC), invites Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified and independent organisations or consultants to undertake an Independent Review of Trustee Performance.
Perpetual Trustee Company Limited (PTCL) acts as Trustee of the relevant Trusts. The review will provide an objective, evidence-based assessment of Trustee performance against the governing documents and agreed service arrangements. The review is intended to assist the DMC in evaluating performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and ensuring the governance framework is operating as intended. The DMC is responsible for undertaking an annual review of Trustee performance and is seeking an independent reviewer to assist with this process.
The review will provide an objective, evidence-based assessment of Trustee performance against the governing documents and agreed service arrangements. The review is intended to assist the DMC in evaluating performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and ensuring the governance framework is operating as intended. It is not intended to be a financial audit, forensic investigation or broad review of all Trust operations. Rather, it is a structured review of Trustee performance against agreed obligations and responsibilities. Detailed review documentation, including an agreed review matrix, will be provided to shortlisted respondents.
Given the breadth of the review, respondents should carefully consider whether they have the necessary experience and capability across governance, financial oversight, trustee operations and investment governance before submitting an Expression of Interest.
