WSUD Sedimentation Basins Clean Out 2024/25

⁠⁠⁠The City of Greater Geelong (the City) invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to undertake sediment removal and associated works at six sediment ponds, located within the City of Greater Geelong region. WSUD Sedimentation Basin Clean Out 24/25.

These sediment ponds form a key component of the stormwater treatment systems in these locations to treat the runoff from urban catchment(s) before it enters downstream waterways. Recent sediment surveys at these sites determined that the current level of sediment accumulation was very high and that these assets require sediment removal to reinstate proper function.
