The Department of Environment, Science, and Innovation’s QGHL division is seeking a calibrated and validated 2DH sediment transport model for the TSB project area using Deltares Delft 3D. This model should initially focus on sediment movement updrift of the Tweed Sand Bypassing Jetty along Letitia Spit and be scalable for future northern expansion. The model must offer various temporal resolutions, from specific events to annual timescales. Additionally, it should be designed to potentially include further morphological and hydrodynamic elements.

The supplier is also expected to ensure deployment of the model is possible on the Government IT network. The project scope requires delivering a comprehensive user-manual, staff training and IT/technical support (up to 10 hours each) for the ongoing application, validation, and recalibration of the model.
