St Marys Central Park - EOI - Principal Contractor

⁠⁠⁠Penrith City Council (Council) is a large general purpose Local Government Authority in New South Wales, with the seat of the City of Penrith located approximately 55 kilometers west of Sydney’s Central Business District at the foothills of the Blue Mountains, covering an area of 404.9 square kilometers with a population of over 212,000.

The St Marys Town Centre Structure Plan identifies a Civic Heart for St Marys Town Centre that can serve as a ‘gathering space’ and focal point for the community in the middle of the town. St Marys Central Park will be located on Queens St spanning along Charles Hackett Drive all the way up to St Marys Village Shopping Centre. St Marys Central Park will become an important connection between Queen Street and its adjoining local shopping precincts, Sydney Metro and Sydney Trains transport infrastructure connections, as well as existing community facilities such as Land Park, Ripples Leisure Centre and St Marys library.

Council is calling for expression of Interests from contractors who have the experience and capacity to perform design and construction of park infrastructure projects within the Penrith Local Government Area or any other LGA within Greater Sydney Region in relation to St Marys Central Park (Project), as further described in Project Brief - Attachment [1] of this EOI.

A more detailed brief of the extent of works and services required by Council under Design & Construction contract model are set out in the Project Brief - Attachment [1] of this EOI.

Council is aiming to shortlist the pre-qualified contractors to respond to a select Request For Tender (RFT) process to engage a principal contractor.

Tenderers are requested to submit their expression of interest to carry out the design and construction of St Marys Central Park project. All the tenderers are requested to make submissions to meet all the mandatory selection criteria and demonstrate their competency against each of the weighted criteria. Selection in this EOI procurement process will be based 100% on Non-Price Criteria.
