Tender Description
Transport for NSW (TfNSW) is planning to upgrade sections of Mamre Road and Elizabeth Drive as part of major infrastructure works to support growth in Western Sydney. This includes Stage 2 of the Mamre Road Upgrade between Erskine Park Road, Erskine Park and Kerrs Road, Kemps Creek, as well as the upgrade of approximately 7.8 kilometres of Elizabeth Drive between Badgerys Creek Road and Cecil Hills. These projects aim to increase road capacity, improve safety, and support future traffic demand associated with the Western Sydney Employment Area and the Western Sydney Aerotropolis.
A Review of Environmental Factors (REF) was completed for each project, which included noise and vibration impact assessments. Operational Traffic Noise Assessment Reports were prepared to assess the potential impacts of road traffic noise and identify mitigation measures. These assessments specified the number of residential and other sensitive receiver buildings eligible for consideration of at-property acoustic treatment, subject to further investigation and confirmation
Scope of Services
Transport for NSW (TfNSW) invites tenders from professional service Contractors (PSC) for the below scope of services for project management acoustic noise treatment for Mamre Road Upgrade Stage 2 and Elizabeth Drive Upgrade. The scope of this service has been divided into eight (8) phases.
- All data throughout each phase is to be captured in the TfNSW-provided worksheet, or an equivalent PSC-provided spreadsheet approved by TfNSW.
- Relevant correspondence between the PSC and property owners, including complaints, objections, and key agreements, must be captured in the TfNSW CM Database.
- Deliverables/documentation for each phase are to be submitted to TfNSW progressively, or as otherwise requested by TfNSW.
