Field Civil Panel

On 9th September 2025, Melbourne Water released an open Request for Tender (RFT) for the renewal of its Field Civil Panel (FCP). The panel will support a range of minor civil projects related to waterway and catchment asset management, including but not limited to civil renewal, roads and crossings, and water supply

Background:

Melbourne Water is a statutory corporation wholly owned by the Victorian Government, responsible for managing the water supply catchments, sewage treatment, and major drainage systems across the greater Melbourne area. The Field Civil Panel (FCP) is a key arrangement within our service delivery model, covering minor civil works necessary to sustain our waterways and catchments.

This upcoming tender will address the evolving needs for civil works and ensure continuity of services. We anticipate the panel will provide significant value by encouraging competitive proposals and delivering quality outcomes safely in environmentally sensitive areas.

Panel Structure and Supplier Registration:

This panel will provide a mechanism to register and list qualified suppliers under specific service categories. Suppliers that meet the required standards and demonstrate the necessary capability and experience will be registered under one or more of the following service categories:

•  Civil Renewal and Construction
•  Rock Beaching and Rock Fishways
•  Roads and Crossings
•  Water Supply
•  Fabrication & Metalwork
•  Demolition
