Overview
The City of Yarra is inviting tenders from suitably qualified suppliers for the provision of Mater Street Park, Collingwood.
About
Mater Street Park is part of the City of Yarra's Roads to Park program, which converts underutilised road space into new parks.
Scope
The scope includes, but is not limited to:
- Demolition of existing asphalt road and footpath
- Removal of kerb outstands and associated soft landscaping
- Tree removal
- Installation of perimeter chain link fencing
- Construction of new pavement and edging types, including a scooter track
- Establishment of grassed areas and garden beds
- Installation of custom sculptural seating
- Installation of parking bay line marking
- Installation of furniture, including a BBQ and shelter
- Installation of a structural play or recreational frame
- Installation of nature play elements
- Tree and garden planting
- Provision of lighting and drainage
