Tender Description

The Department requires and is seeking, in the first instance, a supplier to produce two Teacher Supply and Demand Reports (TSDRs) and/or other innovative products with potentially varying frequencies. The 2024 TSDR or equivalent innovative reporting (produced in 2025) will include analysis on the 2024 calendar year and the 2025 TSDR or equivalent innovative reporting (produced in 2026) will include analysis on the 2025 year.

The supplier will be required to collect, collate, analyse and report a range of workforce supply and demand data related to Victoria’s school and early childhood teaching workforce, including the Victorian Institute of Teaching, the Australian Government, the Australian Bureau of Statistics, the Victorian Education Department (including Initial Teacher Education (ITE) datasets on enrolments and graduations collected via the Department’s Information Sharing Agreement), and other relevant sources to prepare the reports. For example, also exploring in consultation with the Department potential inclusion of Commonwealth Australian Teacher Workforce Data initiative datasets. These detailed reports will analyse current, and forecast future, supply and demand for teachers in Victorian schools and early childhood settings, as well as historical trends.

The briefing session is designed to give the Department the opportunity to:· guide Invitees through the Invitation documents;· clarify the overall scope and intent of the Invitation; and· receive questions that Invitees may have in regard to the Invitation documents. A Probity Advisor will be in attendance to assist with compliance to probity requirements.
