Tender Description
The entrance way into Piggabeen Sport Complex is currently prone to flooding after periods of rain, leaving the car park, at times, un accessible to vehicle access. Additionally, due to the existing steep grade of the carpark entryway, there’s been ongoing issues with accommodating larger vehicles, such as buses and delivery trucks to the Car Park and Sportfields. Due to these ongoing issues, Tweed Shire Council is requesting for the installation of Box Culverts to both bring the existing entryway up to the existing road levels on Carramar Drive and the Carpark, and to prevent flooding of the entryway in events if significant rain.
There wil be two (2) Pre-offer Site Meetings held at the Piggabeen Sport Complex on the dates nominated below.
- Thursday 30th May 2024 at 9:30am.
- Thursday 6th June 2024 at 9:30am.
The Authorised Person of the Contract will be available at the time to answer any Bidder's queries regarding the RFO.
