EOI – Formwork & Concreting Works for a 3-level new commercial development
Expressions of Interest are invited from an experienced formwork / concreting contractor to complete concrete structure package from basement through to roof slab. Project involves the construction of a new 3-level commercial concrete shell building and a single basement carpark at Alexander Street, Crow Nest 2065
Scope:
The appointed contractor will be the principal contractor responsible for coordinating and delivering the formwork, steel fixing and concreting works. The scope is to include:
- formwork including PVC formwork walls where required
- reinforcement coordination and steel fixing
- concreting
- columns, walls, beams and suspended slabs
- awnings, stairs, lift/core elements and roof slab
- coordination with pump, concrete supplier, trades, engineer
- site supervision, sequencing and coordination of the concrete structure works
Note:
- demolition, shoring and excavation will be tendered separately
- All internal partition walls on drawings are NOT to be quoted aside from stairwell and lift shaft and only rear(east-side) basement service rooms
- Exclude the supply cost of concrete and reinforcement steel, but include all labour, plant, equipment, supervision and coordination required to fix, place and complete those works.
Relevant experience:
Confirm your experience with similar concrete-frame multi-rise buildings, particularly basement to roof structures, suspended slabs, awnings, lift/stair cores and tight urban sites. Provide details or references for comparable projects.
Pricing basis:
Provide lump sum pricing to include:
- all plant and formwork materials
- all labour including formwork, steel fixing & concreting
- concrete pump coordination
- slab/wall/column set-out coordination
- temporary works and propping
- site supervision and program coordination
- material handling, unloading, storage and movement on site
Clearly identify all inclusions, exclusions and provisional items.
Concrete and reinforcement steel supply may be priced separately as optional items. Alternatively, these materials will be supplied. In either case, the contractor is to allow for all coordination, handling, fixing, placement and sequencing required to complete the concrete structure works
Contractors should provide:
- company details and capability statement
- licence details and insurances (minimum 20M public liability & workers comp)
- relevant project examples/ references
- indicative methodology
- ability to provide fixed fee proposal including availability and timeline
