Tender Description
Council is seeking Tenders from suitably qualified and capable contractors to redevelop Anthony Beale Reserve at 277 St Helena Rd, St Helena VIC 3088, as part of the Banyule City Council's Capital Works Program 2023-24.
Banyule City Council appointed Davidson Architects to redevelop Anthony Beale Reserve. After meeting with stakeholders, the consultant developed new floor plans for the ground and first floors. The proposed plans include changing the existing space activities & adding new spaces on the ground & first floors.
Background information / Compatibility requirements
The scope of works generally includes but is not limited to construction activities involving:
• Mobilisation and site establishment.
• Inspect the site and consult existing site documentation and Council Officers to confirm the scope of work, identify site latent conditions, and be informed of any discrepancies between documented information and physical systems or site conditions.
• Demonstrate compliance with the specifications.
• Prepare and submit for approval drawings, equipment and material list, installation program and safety management plan.
• Ensuring the works are undertaken safely and in accordance with all Council, Melbourne Water and statutory safety requirements.
• Location and protection of any and all underground and above-ground services in the works area.
• Demolition of partitions as per the architectural drawings.
• Adding new spaces to the ground floor & first floor as proposed by the architectural, structural & services drawings.
• All work will be carried out during normal business hours.
• Documentation of as-constructed information, including as-built drawings, all inspections, testing and certificates.
• Inspection and testing of the works.
• As-built drawings (in CAD and PDF format) will be provided in soft and hard copies at project completion.
• Warranty for parts, Systems, software and labour will be 12 months from the practical completion date.
• Site clean-up & handing over.
In addition to the above, Contractors are to visit the site and make their own investigation and assessment of site conditions. Contractors will be able to visit the site with the Project Engineer present on 21 May 2024 at 10:00 am.
