Pavement Geotechnical Investigation & Pavement Design Services - Kergunyah Rd - Kergunyah

⁠⁠⁠Indigo Shire Council are seeking to engage a suitably qualified and experienced consultant to provide geotechnical field investigation and structural pavement design services on multiple sections of Kergunyah Road. Works will include evaluation of existing pavement materials and subgrade strength followed by development of pavement design options. These options must consider the suitability of the existing seal and pavement materials for rehabilitation and recycling through appropriate in-situ stabilization methods along with the addition of supplementary crushed rock pavement.

Kergunyah Rd is located within the Kiewa River flood plain and provides a key links between Gundowring Road and the Kiewa Valley Highway. This short section of road contains multiple bridge and culvert structures with certain sections more prone to inundation from time to time. The sections for investigation total approximately 930m long, across 4 segments of varying length along this 3km stretch of road. This brief does not include any survey or geometric road design services. Please refer to Section 10 of RFQ for full scope of work.

Quotations are to be submitted, before 2 pm, Tuesday 30th January 2024, via Council’s Electronic tender portal.

Quotations received later than the indicated closing time or submitted by any other means will be deemed non-conforming and may be considered at the sole discretion of Council.
