Tender Description
This project involves the replacement of the existing direct pool water heating systems serving the 50m outdoor pool at Orange Aquatic Centre, currently consisting of 1 gas fired boiler, with new indirect heating system consisting of heat pumps, thermal stores (buffer tanks) and modular condensing boilers in a 50-50 load arrangement. The current heater is an Aquamax (Rheem/Raytek) model P4224NNO/ID operating at approximately 950kw on full fire.
This Tender provides for the design, supply, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning of the complete heating system as specified herein, as indicated on the associated drawings and in the referenced project documentation. Provide all work and materials:
- Specified and as shown on the drawings,
- Detailed within the written specification,
- Necessary for the satisfactory completion and operation of the Works,
- Generally provided in accordance with accepted trade practice and as directed.
Council requires the 50m pool to be fully operational up to 29 April 2024 (after Autumn School Holidays). From this date, the existing 50m pool heating can be de-commissioned in order to complete installation of the new heating equipment. Work can commence prior to this date provided it does not disrupt the operation of the Aquatic Centre in any way.
