Supply, Install and Maintenance of Tech Software and Hardware for On Street Parking

⁠⁠⁠The City of Parramatta Council is located 24 kilometres west of the Sydney CBD and provides a range of goods and services within a local government area (LGA) encompassing some 84 square kilometres and comprises a population of approximately 260,296 people from a range of diverse cultures, lifestyles and experiences

ABOUT THE TENDER:

City of Parramatta Council is seeking to meet the challenges of the future and leverage the opportunities of data, information, and technology to improve peoples' lived experience of the City. Parramatta is located at the geographical centre of Sydney and is a focus for employment, housing, recreation, and cultural opportunities. It is Sydney's dual CBD as recognised in the NSW Government's metropolitan strategy - A Plan for Growing Sydney. Cities that embrace smart and innovative solutions can see improved outcomes in areas such as sustainability, economic growth, and quality of life for residents, workers and visitors. An important part of these improved outcomes is the community's experience around parking access and availability.

Council is seeking detailed responses from suitable vendors for supply of a centrally controlled Car Parking technology management system to replace existing on-street parking technologies.

Requirements for on-street parking systems include:

1. On-street Ticket Machine Upgrade to Pay by Plate

2. Enforcement Platform Upgrade (By Plate)

3. ePermit System for Customer Service (By Plate)

4. Fixed CCTV Monitoring/ Roaming Mobile Licence Plate Recognition (MLPR) Vehicle and/or Inground Sensors (PODS)

5. Pay by Phone Upgrade and Connected Vehicle Roadmap (Optional)
