Wyndham City Council is seeking a suitable qualified contractor to collect hard and green waste from the resident's property boundary.

The Contractor must provide the Hard & Green Waste Collection service in accordance with this Specification.

Safe working practices, maximum resource recovery and quality customer service provision are key elements of this service.

The objectives of the Hard and Green Waste Collection Service are to:

(a) provide a collection service to the residents of Wyndham;

(b) provide safe, efficient, effective and sustainable operations based on Good Industry Practice collection services;

(c) achieve excellence in customer service;

(d) maximise resource recovery including the recovery of reusable goods in a whole form;

(e) minimise waste to landfill;

(f) meet National and State Government policy objectives;

(g) comply with Worksafe Victoria guidelines and OH&S requirements, and,

(h) comply with the Australian and New Zealand Standard, 'AS/NZS 5377:2013 Collection, storage, transport and treatment of end-of-life electrical and electronic equipment'
