Mansfield Shire Council is seeking to engage the services of an experienced and qualified contractor to complete the sewer connection at Lot 1 - 141 Lakins Road, Mansfield.
As the permanent Goulburn Valley Water (GVW) sewerage is not yet available, Council received GVW authorisation to temporarily connect Lot 1 to these services by the extension of the existing sewer for Council's Field Services Depot.
The sewer extension will also include a new rising main sewer connection for the Council Pound and the replacement of the existing pump well and the associated pump, grinder, macerator, rails and control panel that service the Council Field Services Depot and have reached their end of life.
Once permanent GVW sewer are available for Lot 1 and Council's Field Services Depot, these two lots must be connected to the permanent GVW services
Other works required for Lot 1 include:
- site establishment and preliminaries,
- Installation of new sewer system with pump well and equipment
- Decommission and removal of existing septic tank, backfill with appropriate material (provisional)
- reinstatement of Field Services Depot paved areas disturbed by trenching for services.
