Mobile Workforce Program (MWP) Mobile Integration

⁠⁠⁠SAPOL is modernizing policing in South Australia through the Mobile Workforce Program.

This Invitation to Supply relates to the provision of an integration solution through which more than 7000 mobile devices will connect to SAPOL systems.

South Australia Police (SAPOL) is inviting suitably experienced and qualified suppliers to respond to this Mobile Workforce Program – Mobile Integration Invitation to Supply (ITS) for the provision of goods and services to SAPOL:

A solution that provides mobile device integration for more than 7000 devices to SAPOL systems; and

Delivery, support, maintenance (including break-fix) and training services associated with the day-to-day use and management of the Mobile Integration solution for a geographically dispersed workforce that requires 24/7 coverage, and heightened support in the event of emergency incidents.

This program seeks to place personally issued mobile end computing devices in the hands of every SA police officer and employee to achieve a true work from anywhere capability.

The key requirements include:

• Procurement of a device connectivity solution that provides the ability to connect mobile devices (primarily mobile phones) to existing SAPOL systems
• Procurement of a Mobile Integration Storage solution for retention of mobile device data and media
• Procurement of storage solution for virtualization of user profile data
• Procurement of a virtualization solution to allow all SAPOL employees to have full desktop capabilities including non-native applications to be used on a Mobile Device
• Maintenance, support and training for the Mobile Integration solution
• Integration services that will bring together capabilities from this procurement and the related Mobile Workforce Program – Devices and Peripherals procurement to create an implementation-ready end-to-end solution.
