Tender Description
The Department of Primary Industries and Regions (PIRSA) is seeking to implement a modern system to replace its legacy Seed Services Management System, which is over 30 years old and built on an unsupported Progress 4GL platform. The current system no longer meets operational, technical, or strategic needs, presenting challenges to maintainability, workflow inefficiencies, duplicated data entry, and limited user experience.
The purpose of this procurement is to acquire new solution and the associated ongoing support services. Which will provide a modern end-to-end solution, that is sustainable, scalable and user-centric platform that supports seed certification, field based inspections, laboratory testing, management of seed storage, monitoring of plant and equipment, invoicing, reporting, and public ser-service portal capabilities, ensuring alignment with PIRSA's architecture strategy and strengthening the integrity and efficiency of Seed Services Australia's operation.
