Summary
Fellows are invited to express their interest in joining the RACP Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Committee.
Description
One Fellow Representative vacancy has arisen due to members completing their maximum term on the committee. Fellow Representative members represent all Divisions, Faculties and Chapters of the RACP in Australia.
Fellows from diverse scopes of practice and practice settings are encouraged to apply.
Role of the Committee
The role of the RACP CPD Committee is to:
- encourage and promote CPD participation.
- work with RACP management to ensure the College CPD program meets the needs of the Fellowship.
- consider and approve minor changes to the MyCPD program.
- consider and recommend major changes to the MyCPD program to the College Education Committee (CEC)
- consider government regulation on CPD and revalidation and recommend program and policy change to CEC where appropriate. This includes special consideration of regulatory changes in Aotearoa New Zealand and working with the Aotearoa New Zealand CPD Committee on relevant program change.
- identify and facilitate peer review of learning resources suitable for CPD and promote development of learning resources to meet any unmet needs.
Members are required to attend 4 committee meetings a year, one of which is face-to-face. The remaining 2023 meeting date is:
- Friday 15 December (Zoom)
