Warrnambool Medicare Urgent Care Clinic

⁠⁠⁠The Warrnambool clinic was initially established through the transition from a Victorian Government General Practice Respiratory Clinic (GPRC) to a Priority Primary Care Centre (PPCC) in mid-2023, which then transitioned to a Medicare UCC in 2025.

With the Medicare UCC program now receiving an additional two years of funding, and existing clinics required to align with new Medicare Urgent Care Clinic Program Operational Guidance (the Guidance) by 1 July 2026, WVPHN has identified the opportunity to release an open tender for the ongoing delivery of the Warrnambool Medicare UCC. Consistent with probity principles, this process will ensure a fair and transparent approach, enabling interested providers to demonstrate their capacity and capability to meet all updated requirements of the Medicare UCC program.
