The Williamstown Tennis Club is located at the corner of The Esplanade & Morris Street, (73 Morris St), Williamstown, Vic 3016. The existing tennis court light posts of the Williamstown Tennis Club were installed 20 years ago. During 2022, the light posts were found to be badly rust affected and structurally unsafe. One light pole had to be removed for this reason.
The scope of this project is to remove and dispose of the existing 15 light poles and replace them with 15 new poles and lights. The new Light poles must be installed before the existing light poles can be decommissioned. This will ensure that any disruption to club activities will be minimised. There is also one light pole at the site that has been fitted with two new Raptor 600W light fittings. These will be returned to Councils Operation Centre for re-use at another site.
