General Scope of Supply:

1. Second-Party Services:

 Audit

o Management system and product audits on suppliers that are contracted to perform work for the Company.

o Audits of management systems of a supplier prior to award of work.

o Audit activities to be conducted in accordance with ISO 19011: Guidelines for Auditing Management Systems.

 Technology Qualification

o Qualification assessments on technology that is under consideration for use by the Company.

o Assessment tasks may include categorizing proposed technology, demonstrating conformance with established standards, codes and practices, and providing evidence that it will function within specific limits.

o Technology qualification activities may include preparing a qualification basis, developing a reliability model, performing a technology assessment and risk ranking, undertaking a threat assessment, and preparation and performance of a Qualification Plan.

 Process Capability Assessment

o Conformity assessments of manufacturers to determine their competence and experience in manufacturing specific material grades and product forms.

Inspection Services – General

o Contractor represents Company when carrying out inspection services and must seek to add value through use of skilled personnel.

o Inspectors carrying out surveillance inspection work must have applicable technical skills and experience.

 Inspection Services – Drilling and Completions Equipment

o Assessment of the adequacy and effective implementation of service quality plans of suppliers that are contracted to work for the Company and inspection services of their rental equipment.

 Inspection Services – Drilling Rig Equipment and Compliance

o Conduct and reporting of Rig Condition Surveys.

 Expediting

o Expediting services on organisations that are contracted to perform work for the Company.

 Marine Services

o Scope may include Vessel and Mobile Offshore Drilling Unit assurance, International Safety Management audits, incident reporting and analysis, operational assurance, vessel and competency assurance, rig move analysis, mooring analysis, marine procedure reviews, engineering document reviews, decommissioning studies and marine regulatory compliance studies.

 General Consultancy Services

o Contractor must propose and agree with the Company the specific methodology, resources and costs in response to the requested scope of work.

2. Third Party Services

 Verification (Validation)

o Verification (validation) Competency – for each scope of work, Contractor must provide the Company with information that may be required by designated agencies to verify independence and competency.

o Verification (validation) Scheme – Contractor must provide a single managed scheme to ensure the efficient management and documentation of activities. For each scope of work under the scheme, the Contractor must provide the Company with a verification (validation) work plan based on the scheme.

 Classification and Flag Services

o Issue of classification certificates or the performance of the work to be at the sole discretion of the Contractor. Contractor may withhold or withdraw classification certificates or services for lack of conformity with the Classification Society Rules.

 Marine Warranty

o May be required when vessels are transporting the Company’s permanent equipment or operations whereby underwriters require additional assurance for a specific activity.

o Services include, but are not limited to, document review, provision of third-party assurance services and independent verification of marine transportation arrangements for the Company’s permanent or critical path equipment.
