RFT - Federation University Lift Replacement x 2 (Mt Helen and Horsham)

⁠⁠⁠Federation University Australia is seeking to engage a reputable, capable, and experienced Mechanical lift specialist, to replace 2 x  passenger lifts, and update the emergency phone system. Tenderers are asked to take into consideration the following documents when formulating their fixed tender submission;

Tenderers must take into consideration all AUSTRALIAN Standards & Conformity with Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) Compliance in the formulation of their tender submission.

All tenderers will be expected to carry out a full inspection of the sites prior to tendering - Mandatory requirement:

* Mt Helen - 11th May 2023 10 am - 11 am (Meet at Building L)

* Horsham - 11th May 2023 2.30 pm - 3.30 pm (Meet at Building C, Baillie Street, Horsham) 

 Description of Service

Installation of 2 x MRL Lifts in Existing Occupied Buildings

The project covers the removal, replacement, and modification of existing equipment, as documented and as may be shown on architectural design drawings.

The works comprise the removal of existing shaft equipment, the design, manufacture, and procurement as necessary of all new equipment, engineering, supply, delivery, installation, testing, commissioning, and 12 months warranty on all new materials and workmanship

Works are to be carried out between November 2023 and February 2024 depending on procurement lead times.

The scope of works including specifications has been prepared by Senior Elevator Consultants this document will be attached to the tender for Contractor reference.

A Victorian Public Sector General Conditions of Contract Minor works Contract, December 2022 will be in place for these works.
