| Scope | Development Victoria (DV) is responsible for the delivery of Commonwealth Games 2026 (CG2026) Major Competition Venues and Athletes Villages across the four CG2026 regional locations. The State aims for its investments to have significant economic and social benefits and legacies in the CG2026 Regions, including employment opportunities for regional people. The following Government policies will apply to the procurements for Athletes Villages and Major Competition Venues: DV is looking to pro-actively involve regional Group Training Organisations and Employment suppliers (Suppliers) in assisting Contractors to meet their obligations under these policies. The Registration of Interest (ROI) document sets out opportunities for participation by Suppliers. |
| Eligible participants | Suppliers will be evaluated in accordance with a range of criteria to be set out in the ROI including existing regional locations and networks, for-purpose status and organisational capabilities. |
| Process | Suppliers are to respond to the ROI. |
| Procurement Model | Suppliers will not be entering into any contractual agreement with Development Victoria. The intention is for selected Contractors to be connected to selected Suppliers to assist with delivery of government policies. |
