Tender Description
Port Stephens Council (PSC) requests Contractors to submit tender for works at Sturgeon Street, Raymond Terrace in accordance with all details within this Tender Specification.
The objectives of the works are to;
- Improve the condition of existing deteriorated road pavement and kerbing;
- Improve stormwater drainage infrastructure in order to contain majority of stormwater flows in the road reserve and prevent inundation of private properties;
- Formalise parking on both sides of Sturgeon Street;
- Improve safety for pedestrians and motorists at the intersection of Sturgeon Street, Jacaranda Avenue and Swan Street;
- Protect the historical streetscape of Sturgeon Street including trees being retained and historical buildings nearby.
