Overview
Singleton Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified contractors for construction works associated with a new leachate pond at the SWMF.
About
Located at the gateway to the famous Hunter Valley vineyards and surrounded by untouched national parks, Singleton was founded on agriculture, driven by coal and sustained by the Hunter River. Singleton is home to a population of approximately 24,000 who enjoy the diverse food and wine, industry, history, sports and art and culture.
Scope
The scope includes:
- Construction works associated with a new leachate pond at the SWMF
- Provision of all labour, plant, materials, and supervision necessary to complete the works
- Testing and quality control associated with the construction works
- Documentation necessary to deliver a fully compliant, operational leachate containment pond
Contractor Requirements
- Tenderers must be suitably qualified contractors capable of delivering the leachate pond construction works

Instructions to Tenderers
Tender documents can be downloaded via Singleton Council's e-tendering portal after registration has been completed.
All tender enquiries should be directed to the tender online forum via the e-tendering portal.
Completed responses can only be submitted via the electronic tender box provided in the format set out in the Conditions of Tendering. Tenderers will receive a Successful Submission Receipt timed and dated upon completion.
In the preparation and submission of the tender, and without limiting the Tenderer's obligations, the Tenderer shall submit a tender which includes all Schedules, including the Tender Form and any other declaration required, filled in and signed, together with any other documents, information and details necessary to make the tender complete. The Tenderer shall not submit a tender without a firm intention to proceed, nor engage in any form of collusive practice, nor directly or indirectly canvass support from an elected member or employee of Council at any time.
Council staff are unable to respond to verbal enquiries in relation to the proposal. Late, verbal, faxed or emailed proposals will not be accepted.
Council is not bound to accept the lowest priced tender or all or any part of a tender, and reserves the right to conduct the RFT process and select the successful Tenderers as it sees fit.
