Tender Description
The Supply includes the design, manufacture, pre-assembly, testing, supply, and site support for installation / commissioning of the Water Treatment Package.
The Water Treatment Package comprises multiple individual treatment trains each delivering a specific function to the Project integrated water management system.
1. Primary Treatment Plant treats feed water coming from OSBL and condensate return streams fed from process units within the plant:
a. Feed water quality – Potable (town water);
b. Feed flowrate – 134 m3/h;
c. Target product flowrate - >100 m3/h (assuming 75% recover min.);
d. Supplier to provide intermediary tankage, pumps, micro-screens, Granular Activated Carbon (GAC), Ultra Filtration (UF), Ion Exchange (IX) softening, cartridge filters, Reverse Osmosis (RO) Units, Energy Recovery Devices as required, Membrane clean in place (CIP), Continuous Electro De-ionisation (CEDI) and RO Membrane Degassing units as required;
e. Supplier to provide interconnecting piping, valves, electrical cabling, VSDs, and instrumentation required to furnish the package as a pre-assembled unit;
f. Supplier to provide structural steels for equipment & piping supports including baseplate/frame, access platforms, rated/certified lifting points required to furnish the package as a pre-assembled unit; and
g. Supplier to provide Remote I/O (RIO) cabinets and logic for interface into Principals overarching DCS and SIS system;
2. Electrolyser Blowdown Treatment treats return flows from the electrolysis trains and feed from the Primary Treatment Plant:
a. Feed flowrate – 735 m3/h (< 2 µS/cm);
b. Target product flowrate - 700 m3/h;
c. Target Product – “Ultra-Pure Water”;
i. Conductivity - <0.1 µS/cm;
ii. TOC - <30 ppb;
d. Supplier to provide intermediary tankage, pumps, heat exchangers/coolers, Electro-Deionisation (EDI), EDI CIP, UltraViolet (UV) sterilisation, Mixed Bed Polishing (MBP), as required to meet specification;
e. Supplier to provide interconnecting piping, valves, electrical cabling, VSDs, and instrumentation required to furnish the package as a pre-assembled unit;
f. Supplier to provide structural steels for equipment & piping supports including baseplate/frame, access platforms, rated/certified lifting points required to furnish the package as a pre-assembled unit; and
g. Supplier to provide local control panels, Remote I/O (RIO) cabinets and logic for interface into Principals overarching DCS and SIS system;
3. Chemical Dosing Package(s)
a. Chemicals and additives injection skids/dosing systems needed to supplement the packages, including local storage, handling, and application to the process (e.g., load-in panels, dilution facility, etc.), instrumentation and valves.
4. Cooling Tower Blowdown Treatment treats cooling tower blowdown for re-use and reduce overall plant effluents:
a. Feed flowrate - 125 m3/h;
b. Target Recovery Rate >70%;
c. Supplier to provide intermediary tankage, pumps, heat exchangers/coolers, micro-screening, UF, RO, Energy Recovery Devices, as required to meet specification;
d. Supplier to provide interconnecting piping, valves, electrical cabling, VSDs, and instrumentation required to furnish the package as a pre-assembled unit;
e. Supplier to provide structural steels for equipment & piping supports including baseplate/frame, access platforms, rated/certified lifting points required to furnish the package as a pre-assembled unit; and
f. Supplier to provide Remote I/O (RIO) cabinets and logic for interface into Principals overarching DCS and SIS system.
The Supply must comply with all relevant Australian Standards.
The Project, including this package AUS1004P0019 Water Treatment Package is subject to internal approvals. The procurement process or scope may change at Gibson Island H2 Pty Ltd.’s election, including to accommodate project budget and time requirements
