Tender Description
Overview
The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of access ramps at Maleny SS, located at 16 Bunya Street, Maleny QLD 4552, as part of the Ed4All (ED4ALL) program.
Scope
The scope includes:
- Design and construction of access ramps at Maleny SS
- Cover over existing walkways
- New covered walkways and ramps comprising tactiles, balustrades, and related elements
- Works spread across multiple areas of the school with limited site access and working space
- Completion of all works by December 2026
Contractor Requirements
- Appropriate QBCC Builders licence to undertake the entire scope of works, with a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders' licence anticipated to be required for this project
- Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $1,000,000.00, held in accordance with the contract
