Tender Description
Melton City Council is seeking submissions from competent contractors to undertake refurbishment works at Blackwood Drive Scout Hall in accordance with the design documentation. The sections of works below identify the scope of works for the project.
It is mandatory that the project meet compliance regulations, safety/structural elements and repairs necessary to ensure the building is fit for purpose. The project scope includes but is not limited to:
- Repair cracked blockwork
- Upgrade works to the MSB
- Upgrade the lighting internally and externally to meet current lux levels,
- New wheelchair access ramp, handrails and TGSI to AS1428.1-2021
- New DDA compliant entrance door
- Replace the tongue and groove flooring inc line making
- Repair any faulty roof fixings and replace rusted gutters and downpipes
- Connect new stormwater drainage to the existing barrel drain in park
- Repair Sub floor vents
- Remove Step Ladder
- Extend the tubular framing and install netting to mezzanine floor
- Ground injection works – Please note – The contractor needs to provide (as part of the tender submission) work schedule that clearly outlines each stage of the process and how long it will take. They should also be able to commit to a fixed time schedule - weather dependant.
