Assessment and production of trade paper (certificates) for eligible Victorian apprentices

⁠⁠⁠The VRQA requires the services of a supplier to carry out Trade Paper assessment and production services, from 1 July 2023.

Many qualifications offer multiple occupational outcomes based on study streams; therefore, provision of the service requires broad depth and experience in trade and skills assessments to provide comprehensive coverage across multiple industries, particularly in the complex area of multi-trades. Production also requires additional resources and expertise including IT solutions and administrative support to execute the service quickly and effectively

The DET Supplier Portal

The Department of Education and Training has now established the DET Supplier Portal. The DET Supplier Portal allows suppliers to access and respond to procurement opportunities from a number of Education portfolio entities.

This Request for Quote (RFQ) is being issued and managed through the Supplier Portal. All primary information relating to this RFQ is being provided through the Supplier Portal, and responses can only be submitted through the Supplier Portal. Responses to RFQs submitted through the Buying for Victoria Tenders Portal will not be accepted.

PLEASE NOTE: as of November 2022, DET has revised the structure of RFQs on the Portal to improve ease of use for suppliers. Please ensure that you read the attached Quick Reference Guide on Supplier Portal Basics when accessing the Portal.

How do I register on the DET Supplier Portal?

• Whether you are an existing supplier to DET or a first-time respondent, please see the attached Supplier Quick Reference Guide (QRG) on the Supplier and User Registration Process.
• Once you are registered and have received your User ID and password, you can log in from the DET Supplier Portal home page.
