Tender Description
Monash University seeks to establish a panel of AV consultants to work on building projects across the university (this does not include AV Integration; this is managed by the Monash AV Integration Panel).
There will be a minimum of three AV Consultants Core panel members and a number of non-Core members.
The Core panel will be the active panel and used for projects. The non-Core panel will be the standby panel.
The members of the panel will establish a partnership with Monash enabling them to act as a trusted agent of the university in providing consultation services related to the deployment of primarily Monash standardised audio-visual solutions and some custom audio-visual solutions (where required) for both BPD(Building & Property Division) capital works projects and eSolutions(I.T.) Core projects, covering projects from small to very large. These audio-visual solutions are an important part of the delivery of best-in-class education, academic and professional functions within the University.
The successful panel members:
- Will be able to deliver market leading:
- Project management capability.
- Complex Audio-visual consulting capability including technical advice.
- Services coordination capability in small through to very large building developments.
- Will be able to work effectively with Monash eSolutions AV Design and AV Installations teams:
- Recommend and design appropriate audio-visual solutions following the Monash University Audio-visual Standards Framework.
- Create the design and as built documentation using standard Monash Deployment Packs.
- Coordinate with the project re architectural and other services.
- Provide commissioning services using the Monash Test Plan process.
- Ultimately delivering high quality audio-visual consulting and solutions at a lower cost.
