Tender Description
The CCMA is looking to remove a large stand of willows on Barwon Water's land at Bolwarrah weir & revegeting the banks with local indigenous species. This is part of the Moorabool River Flagship project.
The scope of works to be executed consists of:
- Site preparation including access arrangements
- Pre-poisoning of willows with herbicide
- Removal and disposal of willows
- Revegetation of nominated areas with native plants
- Inspection of all work areas at the end of the summer period and the conduct of maintenance work to remove any willow regrowth
- Maintenance of willow regrowth and revegetation once within a 12-month period post works as specified.
