Tender Description
Tenders are invited from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to undertake the construction of new footpath along Walkers Street incorporating pedestrian crossing points and a new pedestrian bridge. These works are to improve pedestrian safety by creating designated safe pedestrian crossing points that are illuminated to provide increased visibility.
The works will also improve access to “The Mill” precinct and the adjacent Castlemaine Botanical gardens. The contractor will need to accommodate during the works, significant pedestrian movements within the area. This should be considered in the tenderers traffic management implementation for the works.
