Mount Alexander Shire Council now wishes to complete the Castlemaine to Campbells Creek 6km accessible off road path and trail network which includes the construction of a walking and cycling trail from Princess Street Campbells Creek to the commencement of the existing trail into Castlemaine.

This project is for the completion of 479 metres of trail along Campbells Creek. This project when completed will connect the network to improve the connectivity and liveability by creating more opportunity to do outdoor activities like walking, cycling and hiking. The completed trail will provide an accessible trail for residents with mobility issues including mobility scooter users.

Mount Alexander Shire Council is seeking Tenders from appropriately qualified and experienced contractors for the construction of a gravel path. Other works include installation of fencing, signage and a concrete path under Princess Street Road bridge. The RFT sets out the general requirements for the Goods and/or Services and the terms and conditions of submitting a Tender.
