Kingston City Council (KCC) is seeking to appoint a qualified and experienced Consultant to work with them on undertaking a Regional Needs Assessment and Investment Framework for the Southern Metropolitan Area.
The Southern region has entities including the Greater South East Melbourne (GSEM), South East Councils Climate Change Alliance (SECCCA) and the Dandenong Integrated Water Management Framework (IWMF), established a range of strategic initiatives together with member Councils developing Council Plans and a Draft Regional Land Use Framework Plan.
Through this work within the region a significant suite of opportunities will be put before Government (State and Commonwealth Government) for their consideration. What is now required is to synthesise this information and establish a robust 'regional needs assessment' to determine the regions highest priority projects. In addition to determining the highest needs the project will deliver a robust 'investment framework' for the region to utilise in securing funding from Government(s).
