Tender Description
Led by Transport for NSW (TfNSW), the NSW Government will be seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) to enter a long-term lease(s) and to deliver and operate a mixed-use marina development within the Snug Cove Maritime Precinct (the Precinct) in the Port of Eden.
Prior to release of the EOI, TfNSW proposes to undertake a period of market engagement. The purpose of the market engagement is to alert potential participants about the forthcoming opportunity, assess the best delivery model and contracting strategy, encourage competition and assess market sustainability. The market engagement process will be conducted in a manner that ensures:
- content provided is consistent and accessible;
- the process will not detail any future tender process, but will rather seek feedback and information from the market in relation to the proposed opportunity; and
- the process is in full compliance with NSW Government and TfNSW procurement policies and overseen by a probity advisor.
The market engagement process is not part of any tender process and is not a request for a proposal to deliver services of any kind.
There is no obligation to participate in the market engagement and non-participation will not affect consideration of any later submission. Similarly, feedback given during this market engagement will not in any way bind potential participants to provide or to include in a response anything discussed as part of the market engagement process.
Information provided or discussed during market engagement will not in any way be taken into account or impact any future evaluation or award decision.
Participants in the market engagement acknowledge and agree that TfNSW will not be liable for any costs or expenses incurred as a result of its participation in this market engagement exercise.
The EOI is expected to be released in Q3 2022. Shortly after release of the EOI, TfNSW will hold an online information briefing session for all interested participants.
