Tender Description

The City of Cockburn (Principal) is seeking the services of a suitably skilled and qualified Head Contractor to construct the Aboriginal Cultural and Visitor Centre in Bibra Lake. The proposed building is of steel and timber construction and is to house a number of key functions including a commercial café, exhibition space, community rooms and ancillary facilities. External to the building, the works include the construction of hard and soft landscaped areas- both irrigated and non-irrigated, civil works for carparking and drainage and services infrastructure works.

 
All services shall be executed to the satisfaction of the Principal's Representative in strict accordance with the Contract, the Specification, and the Contracted Schedule of Rates along with any work instruction issued by the Principal's Representative.
 
The Specification is to be read in the context it is written and will be the basis upon which the Contractor is to achieve an acceptable standard and level of service.
 
A full statement of services required under the proposed contract appears in the Specification.
 

NON-MANDATORY SITE BRIEFING

Attendance at this meeting is not mandatory. 

Tenderers may attend the Tender briefing on: 

Tuesday 30 August 2022 at 10:00 am (AWST) 

The location of the meeting is at:

City of Cockburn, Operations Centre, 52 Wellard Street, Bibra Lake, WA 6163. 

The briefing will provide Tenderers with the opportunity to clarify any uncertainties with the Principal prior to the closing of the Tender.
