Tender Description
The Periodic Maintenance Repairs (Road Rehabilitation Package) of Birregurra-Forrest Road is a combination of two sites, being site 1 Ch16.235 to 16.717km and site 2 Ch21.736 to 24.150km respectively.
Site 1 - Birregurra-Forrest Rd Ch16.235 to 16.717km
Site 1 is situated approximately in the township of Barwon Downs VIC on Birregurra-Forrest Road. The existing pavement varies in width between 3.1-3.3m per lane with a 500mm sealed shoulder. The horizontal road alignment features a straight road formation with a single 90-degree bend (approx.) in the town centre. The road rehabilitation length is 482m with 3.1m wide traffic lanes and has a varying sealed shoulder. The roads vertical geometry is mostly flat with an elevation change ranging 3m in its vertical alignment.
Site 2 - Birregurra-Forrest Rd Ch21.736 to 24.150km
Site 2 is situated approximately in the township of Forrest VIC on Birregurra-Forrest Road. The existing pavement varies in width between 2.4-3.3m per lane with a varying unsealed shoulder. The road alignment has a slight curve throughout, but relatively straight throughout its 2.414km length, together with an elevation change ranging 35m in its
vertical alignment.
The combined length of the two works is 2.896km.
