CW 2020/21 Hopetoun P12 College – [EW] – [CONSTRUCTION WORKS – asbestos removal]

Project Summary

The Victorian School Building Authority is intending to release a Request for Tender in late July 2022 for the asbestos removal as per division 6, installation of heavy duty plastic to façade to act as temporary weather proofing, isolation of services, erect temporary fencing around the building for security located at Hopetoun P12 College – 1 Dodgshun Stree, Hopetoun, VIC 3396 to enable asbestos works are completed while main design works underway. The project will require asbestos removal, isolation of services, protecting the building cladding after asbestos removal and temporary fencing around building to ensure security.

All respondents will need to have a current CSR Registration under the category New Commercial Construction Prequalification level amount no less than $330,000.

A separate Request for Tender (RFT) will be issued. It is expected that approximately four tenderers will be invited. The VSBA will make a decision on which firms are to be invited to submit a tender, based on the firm’s experience, capability and capacity to undertake the work in the required timeframe, and past performance.

The Victorian School Building Authority reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to directly approach CSR registered entities under the above mentioned prequalification category to invite them to express interest in tendering for this project in the event that inappropriate and/or insufficient interest is received from parties by the date of closing of responses to this Advance Tender Notice
