Warrnambool City Council is seeking quotations for the supply of a 50kW Electric Vehicle charger to Council’s depot at 10 Scott Street, Warrnambool, VIC 3280.
Warrnambool City Council has committed to be a carbon neutral organisation by 2026. The delivery of Electric Vehicles (EV) infrastructure has been identified as priority action under Council Green Warrnambool Plan (Environment and Sustainable Strategy) and the Warrnambool 2040 Community Vision.
These plans reflect the community aspirations for environment and sustainability for the City. Council was also part of the Charging the Regions Project which identified Warrnambool and the South West as priority locations for EV chargers.
Council is seeking quotations for the supply of a 50kW EV charging station including the software platform to operate/manage and monitor the EV infrastructure.
Separate price submissions are requested for the following components:
- Hardware (supply only)
- Ongoing maintenance servicing and repairs component
- Ongoing software management, payment collection and customer service/troubleshooting
The installation component of the project will be conducted at a later stage by a qualified electrician. Tenders should include shipping cost to Council’s Depot (10 Scott Street, Warrnambool, VIC, 3280).
The supplier most provide all the required information to Council’s preferred installer during installation. In addition, the supplier should be on-site while installation and commissioning of the EV charger is occurring to ensure it meets the supplier installation requirements. All warranties must remain between the supplier and Council.
